The 3rd arrondissement of Paris is perhaps one of its most unique districts. For one thing, it bears the moniker “Quartier du Temple,” thanks to its history of grand churches and massive temples. Does the place still look as grand as its name? Unfortunately, those impressive structures are all but long gone. What the 3rd arrondissement is today, however, is a bustling area with trendy cafes, cool shops, and a hip scene that only Paris can muster. Though many of them are gone, some like Saint-Nicolas-des Champs and Saint-Denys-du-Saint-Sacrement, have stood the test of time.
