You really shouldn't let the news get to you. What you see on TV or read online shouldn't sway you all that much when you plan to visit or maybe even move to another country. Sure, reading about a place to learn more about it is wise, but if you let all the media coverage it gets influence you, it can be your ultimate loss. Israel is a prime example. People have this certain idea on what it is because of the news and whatnot but actually going there yourself is a different experience. Especially Tel Aviv, what with so many things to do in a day here.

Have Fun in Tel Aviv Beach

While it's technically an Asian country, Israel is still part of the Mediterranean region. And you know what that means: some fun under the sun! The next time you have a free day from work or you only have less than 24 hours in Tel Aviv while traveling, why not spend it at Tel Aviv beach? You'll get as much sun, sand, and seawater as you can get, enough to give you a good tan for weeks. There's simply nothing quite like relaxing in some seaside paradise, especially if life has been knocking you down a little too much lately.

Marvel at the White City

Want to wander off to an incredibly beautiful part of Tel Aviv? An area so distinct and unique that it's become a UNESCO World Heritage site? Then go to the "White City." One of the largest districts in all of Tel Aviv—which means you can easily get here via public transport—this monumental "city" serves somewhat of a shrine to Bauhaus architecture. Around 4,000 white buildings were designed according to that distinct style, all standing proudly as proof that such artistry exists. You won't find anything else like it in other places in Israel, even in the rest of the world!
