October tends to be underrated when it comes to the best times to be in
Paris. Most people would love to visit and stay in the city in spring or even summer, but October? Well, everyone will want to be in Paris this October 2025! As autumn settles down and paints the city a lovely orange twilight, all sorts of events keep up the excitement. Music icons like Sting and Katy Perry will hold concerts here, for instance, while Jazz sur Seine continues the music extravaganza, albeit in a more intimate way. There's also the annual Wine Harvest Festival in Montmartre, which gives a peek into the city's longest and most fascinating traditions.
International Artists Live in Paris
As far as concerts in Paris go, 2025 has been a great year. No less than Beyonce, Drake, Billie Eilish, and the like have performed live in the city, and it's not even the end of the year yet! Naturally, October 2025 will be no different. The month's first full week alone will already see the likes of OneRepublic and Sting taking to the stage at the Accor Arena in the
12th arrondissement. The former will perform on October 7th, while the latter will be on October 9th. Later down the line, Katy Perry will begin the Paris leg of her 'Lifetimes' tour on October 24th, in the same venue.

Le Salon d'Automne (Begins on October 29)
The fact that Le Salon d'Automne still takes place today is nothing short of extraordinary. This prestigious Fall Art Show has been one of Paris's many highlights of the year, offering a massive platform for established and emerging artists alike to show off their latest works. The event started in 1903, when the likes of Matisse, Cezanne, Roualt, and more revolted against the academic establishment of the time and set up their own art exhibition. Paris has continued this tradition, with the upcoming event scheduled to take place in the
Champs-Élysées district from October 29th to November 2nd.

Halloween at Le Grand Rex (October 31)
While Disneyland Paris is always fun, Halloween at Le Grand Rex is arguably the best way to celebrate the spooky holiday in Paris. This iconic movie theater, the biggest cinema in all of Europe, annually holds horror movie marathons every Halloween. Ranging from cult classics to new flicks you've probably never heard of before, this is one of the best times to indulge your inner cinephile! There's no movie marathon or film festival quite like it, and the fact that it only happens once a year should let you know that it's something you should experience at least once!
