Bastille Day, Paris Fashion Week, the Paris Plages, and Tour de France are just some you can expect in
Paris this July 2025. And those are just the usual! These are events that Paris usually holds around this time of year. What about what's in store for just this year in July? For instance, international artists like the iconic Diana Ross, Chris Brown, and Nine Inch Nails are all performing here. The Fnac Live Music Festival is also set to return and is bound to be one of the best events this year. With all of these and more, Paris is truly the place to be this July 2025!
International Artists Live in Paris
If you thought

But before her, the controversial R&B icon Chris Brown will be performing at the La Defense Arena on July 5, 2025. Fnac Live Music Festival (July 2 to 4)
If the music legends holding concerts in Paris weren't enough, the city will also host its annual Fnac Live Music Festival at Hôtel de Ville, the City Hall. To be held from July 2 to 4, 2025, Paris will truly be starting the month with a bang! The Fnac Live Music Festival is one of—if not the biggest music festival held in the French capital. The upcoming 2025 edition already has over 30 artists slated to perform, including Eddy de Pretto, Olivia Ruiz, Baby Volcano, St. Vincent, and Miossec, among many others. Though the event isn't exactly at the same scale and level as Coachella or Glastonbury, it's still worth checking out!

Paris Fashion Week (July 7 to 10)
Expecting a little glamour in your stay in Paris this July 2025? Fortunately, the first half of the month will see
Paris Fashion Week! The event will feature the autumn/winter 2025 haute couture shows from the city's biggest fashion houses. Christian Dior, Chanel, Valentino, Armani Prive, and more are set to present their latest collections for both clients and editors alike. Haute couture week is a more exclusive event than ready-to-wear (prêt-à-porter) since these are made-to-measure clothing. Apart from the usual fashion media fanfare, these shows are mostly for the brands' most exclusive clientele. Some houses would even stage smaller, private showings instead of full-blown runway shows.
Paris l'Été Festival (July 10 to 20)
Translated as “Paris in the Summer,” the Paris l'Été Festival is a series of small but fun events to mark the official start of summer in Paris. Though the temperature already started rising in June, July tends to be the hottest time in the city. Thus, it's perfect for outdoor events where locals and tourists alike can enjoy live music concerts, street performances, and even avant-garde art demonstrations while keeping cool. What's great is that these events will also take place in various
neighborhoods in Paris, making it easier to encounter one no matter where you are in the city.
Firemen's Balls (July 13 to 14)
While the rest of the country anticipates the annual Bastille Day every July 14th, arguably the most important
national holiday in France, Parisians are already partying the night before. This 2025, the annual Firemen's Balls return on the eve of Bastille Day. Just as its name says, this is a series of parties held at the main fire stations in every arrondissement in Paris. They usually begin as early as 18:30 (6:30) pm in the evening, starting off with fun activities for kids. Later into the night, the venues start playing the music and turning on the lights for some of the biggest raves of the year.
Bastille Day (July 14)
As already mentioned,
Bastille Day is the biggest holiday in all of France, not just in Paris. The day marks the historic event when French rebels stormed the Bastille Prison on July 14, 1789, the start of the French Revolution. For the rest of France, it's a national holiday when people don't have to go to work or school. For Paris, however, it's a city-wide event. Apart from the parties held the night before, there's also the grand military parade on the Champs-Elysées where the President also holds a big speech.
Cinéma en Plein Air (Begins on July 16)
Paris is often at its sunniest every July, so expect several events to take place outside. Among the most highly anticipated this year is the return of Cinéma en Plein Air. The beloved summer event didn't take place last year due to the Paris 2024 Olympics, so this year, all the cinephiles in the city are more than ready for it to begin again. To be held at the Parc de la Villette, this open-air movie festival will begin on July 6, 2025. It's also one of the most famous
outdoor cinemas in Europe.

Tour de France (July 27)
The annual Tour de France is always an incredible sight to see in Paris every July. Even if you're not interested in cycling and you're not fully aware of who's competing, it remains a majestic display of athleticism that you won't find anywhere else. Contrary to what the uninformed might think, the Tour de France isn't just one big race taking place on one day. It's a three-week-long sporting event that takes place in various parts of the country. This year, the race will begin in Lille on July 5th and will eventually culminate in Paris on July 27th. Don't miss it if you'll be in the city by then.
As summer arrives in Paris this July 2025, the month also has several exciting events in store. From the annual Bastille Day to Paris Fashion Week and everything in between, you’ll want to be in the French capital this July!
