Its famous film festival isn't the only special thing about Cannes. There's also the beautiful town of Le Suquet. One of Cannes' best neighborhoods, the entire place is a relic from the Roman empire as it was part of it centuries ago. In fact, if you didn't know you were in Cannes, you'd likely think you were in Venice, Sicily, Verona, or any other beautiful Italian city. And that's the beauty of this town. Well, it's this stunning castle that's actually a museum. Though it's far from the art galleries in Paris that you're probably more used to, visiting one inside a medieval fortress is pretty novel! Displaying Baron Lycklama's art collection, you'll find that the place is a feast for the eyes on all fronts. Most especially the breathtaking view of Cannes from atop the fortress. Now that's one scenery you won't get to see every day!
