November is right around the time that the holiday season starts, so naturally, things will get a lot busier in
Paris. The month starts with All Saints' Day (
Toussaint), which is one of the very few religious holidays the city still takes very seriously. Then there are the many international artists who will perform live in the French capital next month, which includes the likes of Bensoon Boone and Lady Gaga, among many others. And with Christmas right around the corner, Paris's major department stores will start opening their window displays, too. So with all this in mind, you're sure to have an exciting time in Paris this November 2025!
International Artists Live in Paris
As with any other time of year, November 2025 will also feature a couple of concerts you wouldn't want to miss. American singer-songwriter Benson Boone, who the world first knew through American Idol in 2021, will be performing at the Accor Arena in the
12th arrondissement on November 13th. A few days later, pop icon Lady Gaga will also be taking to the stage at the same area, bringing forth her highly anticipated “Mayhem Ball” tour from November 17th to 22nd. And fans of legendary German composer Hans Zimmer will want to see him live at the La Défense Arena on November 21st.
All Saints' Day (November 1)
Despite how secular Paris has become over the years, many in the city remain Roman-Catholics. A good number of them even still practice religious holidays today, specifically All Saints' Day (
Toussaint) every November 1st. Hence, expect this holiday to change things up a bit in Paris. The city tends to get a bit more solemn than most days in the ever-bustling French capital, with many families visiting their deceased loved ones, cleaning their graves, and lighting candles for them. You can use this holiday as an excuse to visit the
cemeteries in Paris, which are also some of the most hauntingly beautiful hotspots in the city.
Les Vitrines de Noël (Begins on November 6)
Paris department stores unveiling their annual Christmas window displays are so highly anticipated, it's become an event in and of itself! These lavish decorations are often the most extravagant in the entire city, putting a smile on anyone and everyone lucky enough to see them in person. This year, the unveilings start as early as November 6th, when BHV Marais will show off their displays along Rue Rivoli. Printemps Haussmann is expected to unveil its windows on the same day, while Le Bon Marché Rive Gauche and La Samaritaine are set to show theirs on November 7th. Galeries Lafayette Haussmann, on the other hand, is expected to unveil its windows on November 13th.
Enchanted Christmas at Disneyland Paris (Begins on November 8)
Do you know another place in Paris that's starting its holiday celebrations early?
Disneyland Paris! The beloved theme park is set to begin its annual “Enchanted Christmas” festival as early as November 8th, starting a nearly two-month-long Christmas extravaganza. The place will be all decked out in twinkling lights, lots of holly, bright red bows, and more. Shops and stalls will begin selling Christmas-themed toys and other knick-knacks, while eateries will serve all sorts of holiday treats. And of course, arguably the best part of the whole thing is the Christmas-themed parades and fireworks shows. You won't want to miss them!
Armistice Day (November 11)
Another holiday to expect in Paris this November 2025 is Armistice Day, which commemorates the armistice that essentially ended World War I on November 11, 1918. More than just a typical
holiday in France, the event usually involves an annual ceremony where the French president lays a tricolored wreath by the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier under the Arc de Triomphe. This honors the soldiers who died in the war, which was approximately 1.4 million. As it takes place in one of the busiest parts of Paris, the ceremony tends to affect the traffic in nearby areas.
Paris Christmas Markets Open (Begins on November 15)
If it's your first time in Paris this November 2025, you'll eventually realize that the city tends to start its holiday festivities early. Apart from the already-mentioned department store window displays and Disneyland Paris, the
Christmas markets in Paris will also begin opening around this time. The La Defense Christmas Market is set to be the first one as it will begin on November 13th. The Tuileries Garden Christmas Market will then follow suit on November 15th, and the Saint Germain Christmas Market will open as early as November 25th. Coincidentally, these three are also the biggest Christmas markets in Paris.
Champs-Élysées Lighting Ceremony (November 23)
Finally, Christmas in Paris isn't complete without the lights along
Champs-Élysées. It's practically the symbol of the city's holiday festivities, brightening up what is already an iconic avenue with twinkling lights, fancy decor, and more. Fortunately, you can see this heartwarming sight as early as November 23rd this year, as this is the date for the Champs-Élysées lighting ceremony. Not only does the event turn the usually traffic-heavy avenue into a huge pedestrian lane, but it even becomes an entire street party once the DJ drops a beat after the trees light up.
As the holiday season draws near, Paris gets as busy as ever this November 2025. From awesome concerts to hotspots unveiling their Christmas decorations, you’ll want to be in the French capital at this time!
