More often than not, investing in international mobile networks is a good idea. Fortunately, here in Greece, there are a tone of them you can join. Orange, in particular, remains a strong player in the telecommunications game even here in Greece. They offer really great packages, priced just right. Not as low as those in Frog Mobile though, but low enough that you won't have to shell out a ton of money to pay for your phone bills every month. At most, their highest-priced deal here is their Three Smart Gold Plan, which gives you 12GB internet data and unlimited calls & texts. It costs €40.00.
Vodafone is also another mobile network you've probably seen and heard of in other European countries. What's great about this company is that it's so big and well-known on the continent, you'll really feel its presence even in Greece. While other mobile networks barely have their own shops, you'll see a Vodafone branch or kiosk in many places in the country. Their prices are also not that bad. A prepaid deal from them that only costs €25.00 will already give you 12GB internet data and 100 minutes of calls & texts. It's a pretty sweet deal if you think about it!
Finally, there's Wind. Though a relatively young player in the game, it has certainly proven its worth as an effective and trustworthy mobile network here in Greece. Their prices are also stellar, mostly ranging from €5.00 to €15.00. Though do note that a good number of them don't include calling minutes. But at least, however, they contain data, which is often enough in this technological age! But perhaps the best deal you can get into with Wind is a €10.00 monthly plan that will give you 11GB internet data, 300 minutes of free calls, and 20 SMS messages.
