Morzine is a skier's paradise. Located in the
French Alps, it offers high slopes, convenient ski lifts, and the perfect weather for some wintry fun. But what if you're not a skier? What if you're not the least bit athletic at all? Does this mean that Morzine isn't a place for you? Not necessarily! Although most people go to Morzine to ski, there are tons of other things to do around here. Well, not exactly! There's still Aquariaz in the Avoriaz area, after all. It's an aquatic center right at the heart of the Rhône-Alpes region, offering up an oasis of tropical paradise amidst all the snow and ice. Don't worry! Yes, you read that right! Instead of skiing down the slopes here in Morzine, you can head on over to the nearby
Avoriaz area and ride a dog-led sled! Strong and beautiful huskies pull you all over this winter wonderland, making you feel as if you're a real-live Eskimo in either Alaska or Eastern Siberia. Of course, it helps that your big pups are adorable as heck too! After you've reached certain spots, you can take a break and cuddle up to these furry critters. When they're in a good mood, they'll cuddle right back or even pound you with kisses! What's not to love?

From a dog to a horse, who knew Morzine offers such fauna fun? If you want to feel like a true-blue adventurer without all the sports gear and stuff, why not go horseback riding in Morzine? There are plenty of places that offer just that, including the
Equestrian Center of Morzine and L'écurie De Bérengère, to name a few. And though they're horseback riding schools that teach up-and-coming equestrians and jockeys, they offer rides to visitors too. If you're an advanced rider already, you can even let your majestic steed gallop its way to the peaks of the mountains, where the most amazing views are seen.
