If you're in Brussels from mid-April to early May, you can get a chance to visit this beautiful landmark, home to the botanical collection of King Leopold II. Exotic flowers, adorable fauna, and a nice spring breeze await you here. Walk through the beautiful flora about the majestic greenhouse, each more fragrant the next. Located in Anderlecht, which is a good distance away from the city center even via public transport, Erasmus House stands as a great reminder of the renowned and historic scholar's legacy. The theologian lived here all the way back in the 16th century and today, the house still contains his early manuscripts, relics of his studies, and the like. Not to mention works of Flemish art that date all the way back to the 15th and 16th centuries. But beyond all that, why did Erasmus Huse make it to this list of romantic spots?
