Description
Inside 80 acres of green olive groves, active vineyards and beautiful oak woods, lies Feriale I, one of the several farmhouses found in the Petrolo estate. The estate is located in the middle of Tuscany’s “golden triangle” between Florence, Siena and Arezzo, and walking distance from Mercatale Valdarno, the nearest town.
Like the other farmhouses, Feriale II can be easily located courtesy of the medieval watchtower of Galatrona, which is the estate’s dominant landmark. It is located on the ground floor and has a floor area of 80 square-meters. It has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom and can accommodate up to 6 guests. It is surrounded by olive trees and vineyards with a wide and panoramic view of the other houses and the estate. It also has a nice private garden, a barbecue area, a pergola, and a gorgeous swimming pool, shared with Ferniale I and Vigna.
From the garden, you’ll find the entrance which opens to the spacious living room and open dining and kitchen. Upon entrance, you’ll find comfortable sofa bed for 2 people, a centerpiece, charming native furniture and fixtures, and a dining table made from an old wine barrel that seats 4 people. The full open kitchen is just nearby, equipped with the essentials to make breakfast or a full meal. This part of the house also has a direct access to the beautiful and refreshing private garden outside.
The house has 2 bedrooms. One is fitted with a queen size bed and the other with 2 single beds. Both rooms are naturally cool even during summer being on the ground floor.
From the living area going to the kitchen all the way to the corner most part of the house, is the lone full bathroom with a bathtub, shower, toilet, bidet, and a sink.
OUTSIDE, you’ll find:
A shared swimming pool (6 x 12) meters wide and (1.5) meters deep
Private garden with Pergola
Barbecue area
Parking area
The entire house is WIFI enabled and equipped with a washing machine for laundry concerns. Firewood is supplied free of charge all year round as well. The house also has an independent heating system for cold or winter seasons.
