Description

Break with tradition

It might sit on a row of tall townhouses, but inside Gloucester Street VI, you'll find a mix of modern styles. An elevator takes you to the fourth-floor entrance hallway, which leads to the sitting room on the left. With Japanese prints, Scandinavian-style throws and an assortment of colourful cushions, there’s a variety of styles on show. An Arco floor lamp is flanked by two very different kinds of armchair, while the oval dining table (for six) has a mid-century feel.

Follow the hallway clockwise to the find the kitchen, which has a diner-style table and upholstered benches. Up on the fifth floor, the hallway leads to the bathroom, then the master bedroom, with its vintage photography and contemporary ensuite. Next up is the second bedroom, where a fabric bedstead sits across from a period sideboard.
